School P.E. days
Our P.E. days this term are Wednesday and Friday. Children come to school in their P.E. kit for the day.
Welcome to Class 2
This term we will be looking at monarchs in history and have our trip to Burghley House to help with this. We are moving on to learn more about the Easter Story in R.E. and will be making moving monsters in D.T. We will also be getting ready for our class assembly at the end of term.
We will be continuing to follow Little Wandle for our reading and spelling lessons. If you would like more information on this and advice on how to support your child at home please visit the website using the link below.
Homework
Each week homework will be shared on Class Dojo.
Reading
We ask that children read at least 4 times a week for about 15 minutes each time. Reading regularly helps children with spelling, imagination and understanding. When your child reads please record this in their reading record.
Spellings
Each week spellings will be sent home for the week. These will be based on our phonics from the week.
Numbots
Numbots logins will be in the children's reading records. Regular practice will help with addition and subtraction. We recommend 25 minutes a week split into several short sessions.
Optional Maths
Children can take home maths practice sheets if they would like extra work linked to what we have been learning in class.
